i hope, they get more shipments tomorrow. :)

The game is not sold out on Amazon JP. The version that comes with the pre-order bonus (soundtrack CD) is sold out and will probably never be re-stocked, but the regular version that doesn't come with the soundtrack CD is in stock.

It is true, but those who want it right are people looking for the collector's edition.

It is also interesting in the difference of user reviews of both entries. The collector's edition has MUCH better user reviews.

@Zen I dont see you taking into consideration the fact that 360 has a 2:1 advantage hardware sales wise against PS3 in US when you talk about 360 selling more software? But when it suits you, sure the userbase card is perfectly Ok.

umm...35k first day
My guess: 80k first day, 150k lifetime in Japan
70-90k first Day
65k ish
i'll give 40K-60K

Maybe the low score by Famitsu will affect the over hyped sale.
so possible 70K first day.

Famitsu gave it not so great scores. That is a death sentence in Japan.

Around 100k

105k first day

55k.

68K first day.
93k first week.
175k Japan Lifetime.
350-400k WW Lifetime

80 - 100k first Day

Pathetic community just trying to put the game down.

Here's hoping that WKC sells well in Japan as it looks like a great game anyway, i know that i will be buying it when it comes out here in the UK anyway. I need a good JRPG fix to last me until FFXIII is released (probably 2010 )

Is 150,000 copies a lot? Not for a decision about wich platform to choose, the PS3 or the X360 (assuming the devs got a few extra bucks from MS for exclusivity).

Because the difference between WKC (PS3) and Last Remnant & Infinite Undiscovery (X360) is the Japanese sales.

WKC won't reach 300K in Japan. IU and LR will end at rufly 150K in Japan.

In the rest of the world a pretty safe assumption is equal sales between PS3 and X360 when it comes to JRPGs.

IU and LR will sell rufly 500,000 copies on the>X360. WKC will sell rufly 650,000 copies thanks to the extra Japanese sales. Not a big difference.

No one menthioned that if it was not for those JRPG's the 360 would still sell like a virus in Japan....

This means that the 360 owners bought the system especially for those games. Therefore more likely to have a higher attach rate.

PS3 buyers in Japan bought the console because of what it is, not particular games.

PSN ID: T_Gears

End of 2009 ltd sales:

Wii = 67-68m

X360 = 38-39m

PS3 = 34-35m

Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).

Why are you putting down the game. So far, any PS3 exclusive you speak about, you put down. Why?

because they don't own a ps3 and they want to put it down, just like the trolls in the video stream of wkc.

Well then, there is no reason to have not have an JRPG on both PS3 and 360. No advantge in 360 exclusive over a multiplat.

but overall JRPG multiplatform would sell more on the ps3 than 360.

making clear ps3 is a viable platform for JRPG. things fanboys were saying it didn't.
