This thread is hilarious.

Look at Stickball trying to use attach rate and stuff. If members were stupid enough to say that the 360 sells JRPGs better than the PS3, then they are stupid enough to get their predictions owned.

People made that argument full and well knowing that the install base for the PS3 is triple that of the 360 in Japan. I do remember reading on this site sales!= install base, but demographic, that is, the 360 has had over five JRPGs come out on the system in JP, so a good bit of JRPG goodness, and owners are on the system, while the PS3 has had 2 old ports, and 1 (WKC), and managed to outsell all of the other JRPGs.

No spin to see here people, it outsold LO, ToV, IU, TLR, and ES lifetime sales in one day. And First week may be ahead of BD.

So glad that argument is dead.

First you claim WKC only sold better only because the PS3 has a bigger install base than the 360 and then say the 360 JRPG's have a better attach rate. Now you want to compare a game on the PS2 with an install base of 20M to a game on the PS3 with an install base of 2.7M, thats 7:1.

WKC outsold all lifetime HD rpgs in one day with the exception of Blue dragon,,, so its weird that some of you still consider it a flop !!!! Can we just move on,,, honestly when will some fanboys grow up? 70,000 for Last remenant is a sucess while 132,000 for WKC is a failure? Funny

not because install base its smaller for HD and dragon quest swords isn't really a full JRPG like dragon quest X or FF13.

in a thread people are comparing 360-ps3, its the same as comparing a game RE5 sales and if by chance people will say oh yeah. RE 4 sold better on the wii.

RPG prediction was right! :D

If it's all isntall base, then how can CoD: WaW PS3 or CoD: WaW 360 > CoD: WaW Wii?

How is DMC4 PS3 > DMC4 Wii?

How is Burnout Paradise PS3 not too far behiind BP 360? Should be much lower considering install bases.

And PES and Fifa PS3 > 360.

The argument is fundamentally flawed, and when brough into any argument shows true desperation from the poster that is unable to concede that they were incorrect.

@Steven - Go look at all of the JRPG arguments that have been lobbied about WKC. Many (and I mean many) Sony fans argued that WKC was going to have a massive opening, and blow the doors off of what JRPGs have sold in Japan. If 100k is true, than it's certainly not the case.

who are all these sony fans making these claims about WKC because i have not seen them. i have heard them say stuff like now the ps3 is going to show the 360 how to sell a rpg. but thats about it. you are clearly just trying to blow things out of proportion so a riot will start, then you can start pressing the ban button. is the even a ban button
