Am I wrong in saying that the Wii now has sold more in one week then any other console (Home not Handheld) in History?

Yes, that's correct. I believe I read in the NA sales thread that the wii should've passed the 70K mark for that to happen and it's well over that. The old record sat at around 1.7 million for the PS2 in 2003. So... yeah another record busted for the wii

I'm also quite shocked at the DS... is that a salesrecord aswell?

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
