I'd think that are style and play mechanics would have worked better with the Wii's userbase. But thats just MHO

The only game that I'm waiting from Ubisoft is AC 2. They screwed PoP with the Cartoonish look.... That's my opinion.

I hope it doesn't sell, but I do hope they do make a next one and make it a good one. Outside of the amazing graphics this game sucked terribily. I press A in the vicinity of ANY ledge, and a few more presses and voila, I'm at the top of the tower, holy SHIT what an achievement!!! I can press A withint a 4 second time frame!! WOOOT!!! Yeah.... no, the gameplay sucked. Even the fighting sucked, although it was cool stringing up combos, there was absolutely no use of a combo other than hit hit hit elika hit hit claw jump hit. Unless you had to start off with a claw or a magic attack first but it's still the same thing. That's amazing gameplay right there. Thank god for the graphics otherwise I would not have been able to complete this game at all. Moral: Keep graphics style, dump the shitty gameplay.

Prince of Persia is great. The graphics and gameplay are both innovative. I do not understand people who say the only innovation is that you can't die. I think they are not paying attention. The idea is you don't have to wait 15 minutes for the title screen and several button presses to load the last save (I am looking at you TLR).
IF you don't like the difficulty level ask for hard and extremely hard modes from designers DON'T assume everyone is as masochistic as you are.

The gameplay is far simpler than what even the original PoP had. It's not the fact you can't die, I love that mechanic thoroughly, it's the fact that this game has one of the worst platforming mechanics ever. If I'm anywhere near a ledge and press A, the prince automatically makes a jump, auto starts walking on a wall, and then I have a 3-4 sec time to push A again to jump to a pole, then I press A again to jump to another wall, and he auto runs up it then I just press A again to jump off THAT wall, and this continues to go and on. It's boring and it's not an innovation, it's a HUGE step backwards, in fact, the game is behind Super Mario Bros. in platforming gameplay imo. Thank god it has such decent graphics otherwise it would have been utter crap.

Honestly Vlad, if they gave you any more control over the platforming, it probably would have made the game far too difficult for most people. As it is, most people that beat it die over 200 times. That's a lot for a game.
im dissapointed by prince of persia and mirrors edge, both are good games...............i guess they not as hyped, or mabey during tougher economic times they fell under the radar, i mean theres only so many games you can buy
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

Duh.
I've only played a demo or something of an older PoP game and even that was on the PC, so I suppose I can't say very much about the whole case. Still, I guess they should have sticked with the old consept instead of a more casual approach and they should have hyped the game more. It's one of the few bigger-profile games I didn't know when exactly it was going to be released. I didn't hear too much else about it, either.
This man was right Mirrors Edge was an ATTEMPT to innovate, but it didn't fly, I bought the game and found myself wondering the the hell I was playing, it seemed like a mix of Metal Gear 4 in how the story tried to involve me but at the same time I'm in the first person, I wasn't sure if this was a good or bad game, I just played it beat it and giggled every time I got an award and didn't care enough to find out what it was for.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
