The graphics are great, but I see nothing superior to the competition.

I find it funny that graphics superiority from one game to another is more based on fanboyism than actual merits. People will try to push anything because it's on their system and not notice it is the same thing as in many other games.

all of the gaming websites have and they were extremely impressed (they said it was fresh and different ,,,something like COD mixed with team fortress)

*edit* wow, don't watch those first videos on this forum. Follow their links to youtube and view them in HD. Also, you should also put up the Sev sled picture, it's just as funny as the one with the whole squad.

Uhm maybe because there's more then two games on PS3?  Or is "PS3 has no games!" confirmed? 

Really dude I said the engines had a lot of work put into them, they're pulling a lot out of the PS3 but the art direction is God awful to me... not to mention if the story and voice actors are as very B movie-ish as they were in the first one I'll be dying laughing during each story scene... now on the God of War deal the art is good the voice actors are up to snuff if you ask me it's just the story and the game itself...

But really it annoys me that I can view displeasure in a Wii game and no Nintendo fan will ask me "why did you get a Wii?" yet I don't like a "AAA" PS3 game and someone gets upset... really I dislike talking to a lot of Sony fans for this very reason, it's hard to voice displeasure without them making an outlandish statement... now that may not be your intention, but you've made a few claims before fitting this, IE "Twes hating Sony", there's been a lot of ranting and whining lately and if you're this Sony fan you are you should be pleased that I got a PS3 and should at least keep an open mind that I have my personal tastes...

We are more streamlined. We have a few games that we hype at any given time, God of War III and Killzone 2 are two of them. I suppose you don't like Uncharted either?

Even Zen, pretty much the biggest GoW hater on this site, agrees that the story, characters and scale are awesome. He just doesn't like the gameplay. I actually hate the hack and slash genre, but God of War is one of my favourite series.

I was semi-joking about Twesterm hating Sony, but he does happen to hate many of the things that a lot of people like, like Uncharted and FF7, while hating some things that most people hate, like Home.

It's just...contemplating that anybody can't be hyped for this game...it confuses me. If you like FPS, you owe it to yourself to get this game. But I'm guessing you don't, and that's understandable.

But seriously, you can't deny that these graphics are awesome. Of course it pleases visually! Those shots would not have been headshots, and I don't like the use of the phrase "The inherent flaw with console shooters". That suggests that all console shooters are bad, and Halo says hi.
