use Interenet Explorer on a Windows PC (but keep your virus protection on )

I use FF with XSS disabled, so I very rarely see anything myself.

I got redirected on one thread.

But Firefox seems to save me from the worst ills. (I only use IE for legacy stuff these days).

Yeah, gotten redirected numerous times. Luckily I mostly access VGC at work where I'm using a protected server w/ no Administrator access, etc.

Theoretically yes, but no viruses have been written for the PS3 (and probably never will). So the real answer is no, only Windows will pick up a virus, as the viruses are written for Windows

This site and the ads and redirects in question are what caused my work PC to get all messed up. Sometimes the computer locks up completely.

Wellllll....being able to run virus on a PS3 would mean that whoever wrote it would have to know how to run unofficial code, and thus homebrew (under the XMB, not linux) would be possible as well...have our black hat wearing friends been able to get that far yet?
