Forums - Microsoft Discussion - The fools of this generation

As expected with every generation that dares to transform the industry there are people who try to deny its impact and end up looking like fools rather than the visionaries that decided to accept things as they were changing. This generation is no different. Thanks to Nintendo's approach to make gaming more appealing to everyone beyond core gamers the industry is slowly changing to accept the fact that gaming is no longer an activity enjoyed by the elite. This means that there are fools to refuse to accept this and keep preaching doom to the point where they will be remembered as the fools who looked stupid during this era.

I know this generation just started, but what are some of the fools this generation has claimed? This applies to analysts, game reviewers, websites, PR spoke persons, presidents and even employees! The key is that they said something so outrageous or silly that they will be remembered for that.

Good example from Oct of last year concerning the Wii:

MarioKart:

Wii Code:

2278-0348-4368

1697-4391-7093-9431

XBOX LIVE: Comrade Tovya 2
PSN ID:

Comrade_Tovya

Just a quick point:

this generation dident just start,

DS was launched in 04
X360 in 05
Wii and PS3 in 06

I know it still feels like a young and new generation but we've already come a long way.

The funniest part of that article is it is one of the most accurate predictions made about this generation.

Oh wow. I remember that article.

Its amazing to think that the success of the Wii was so surreal that it made for sarcastic joke material.
