Aren't your prediction 15 and 27 the same? 4 and 38 are contridicting each other?

POST E3 UPDATE:

1) PS3- 34 million It's theoretically possible, so I won't fail it. Yet.

2) X360- 39 million Seems about right.

3) Wii- 77 million Little high? It's not even at 50 mil yet. Yup, WAY too high. Might as well just say FAILED.

4) PS3 will outsell the Wii on GT5 launch week Which will hopefully be in 2009.

5) God of War III will make it out in 2009 FAILED

6) PS3 will get a price cut in Q1 or Q2 FAILED

7) Final Fantasy XIII, if it makes it out in 2009, will sell better on PS3 than X360. Not coming in 2009.

Thought I would make some late predictions, some are more bold than others:

1) Batman: Arkham Asylum will ride the popularity tide created by The Dark Knight and sell 4 million by the end of 2009.

2) Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty will sell over 1.5 million first week and over 4 million by the end of 2009. FAIL, delayed to Q1 2010.

3) Forza Motorsport 3 will sell solid 400,000 first week and 2 million by the end of 2009.

4) Wolfenstein will get overshadowed by big hit games and sell 700,000 by the end of 2009.

5) Need for Speed: Shift will outsell DiRT 2 but not Forza 3.

6) Splinter Cell: Conviction will be moderate success just barely selling 1.5 million by the end of 2009. FAIL, delayed to Q1 2010.

7) Uncharted 2 will sell 2 million by the end of 2009.

8) Modern Warfare 2 will outsell all other games and ends up selling 6 million by the end of 2009.

9) Q1 sales of 2010 will be record high.

I don't see any way for the PS3 to sell 34million. ~12 million units to go? 5 months left in the year? No price cut? 2m units a month? I don't even think it did 2m units last December.

YOY is down, so we're looking at maybe 4-4.5 in this same time period without a price cut. With a price cut, maybe 6-6.5m. :/ 34 is out of reach.

Made a few updates. It's now 5 successes to 9 fails! That's not bad, right?

Stranger things have happened, and there will be a price cut, Sony just aren't stupid enough to announce it two months in advance and I have predicted a price cut, so there's no point assuming what will happen without a price cut (okay I did it once.)

Doesn't matter if there is a price cut or not. They won't hit 34m simply because the 360 only did ~7.3m in that same time frame with their $200 Arcade, so it's impossible for the PS3 to do the same with the economic conditions the world is battling today. :)

^Until it looks as bleak as the Wii selling 77 million, I'm not failing it.

i was correct bout the 300$ or less price of the ps3 and a new sku b4 the year ends and it looks like ill be correct bout the ps3 outselling the 360 from Nov onwards
