Predictions for 2009

Thought I would make some late predictions, some are more bold than others:

1) Batman: Arkham Asylum will ride the popularity tide created by The Dark Knight and sell 4 million by the end of 2009.

2) Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty will sell over 1.5 million first week and over 4 million by the end of 2009. FAIL, delayed to Q1 2010.

3) Forza Motorsport 3 will sell solid 400,000 first week and 2 million by the end of 2009.

4) Wolfenstein will get overshadowed by big hit games and sell 700,000 by the end of 2009.

5) Need for Speed: Shift will outsell DiRT 2 but not Forza 3.

6) Splinter Cell: Conviction will be moderate success just barely selling 1.5 million by the end of 2009. FAIL, delayed to Q1 2010.

7) Uncharted 2 will sell 2 million by the end of 2009.

8) Modern Warfare 2 will outsell all other games and ends up selling 6 million by the end of 2009.

9) Q1 sales of 2010 will be record high.
