Damn, I wish i had made a 2009 perdiction thread like this one in Dec '08. It would have been fun to track it and bumb it all year along.

41) With a price cut, the PS3 will beat the 360 in holiday sales for 2009.

42) Without a PS3 price cut, the 360 will beat the PS3 in holiday sales for 2009.

43) CrazzyMan will be permabanned by the end of the year

44) I will be a VGC obsessive (5001 posts) by the end of July.

45) VGC 2.0 will be launched in June or July (I wish lol)

46) We will get at least one new moderator by the end of this year

47) Supermario128 will be a VGC god by the end of May.

There almost as unbold as leo-j predictions now. "PS3 will have sold 24-46 million by end of 2009"

^You might think that now, they might be considered bold by year's end. I didn't think my original 33 were bold back in December, but now I think they are.

 Good idea. I want mine on top of page 4. I have a few nice ones I think i can gather.

On looking, IGN has given 9+ to

6 PS3 titles

5 360 titles

5 Wii titles (all of which were 9.0, 3 of which I've never heard of)

1. PS3 will outsell 360 during the GT5 release week
2. Versus and MG4: Subheading will be multi-plat
3. Next Kojima project will be multi-plat, announced at E3
4. PSP will release a million seller this year :O
5. PS3 will get a $100 price cut in November
6. GT5 will do 2 million first week
7. Uncharted 2 will not make it to 1 million by the end of 09
8. Halo ODST will do 3 million first week
9. Wii Fit will outsell the PS3 install base by years end
10. Heavy Rain will do a belly flop and sell 500k lifetime
11. People will bitch and moan after E3 announcements are made

Damn RPG some of ur perdicitons resemble those that im about to post

1. PS3 will be dropped to $299 before 2009 is over.

2. PS3 will outsell the X360 by 0-1000,000 units, but no more, in 2009.

3. PS3 - 32 million

4. X360 - 39 million

5. Wii - 70 million

6. Metal Gear Solid 5 will be announced or at least hinted as multiplatform

7. Neither of God of War III, GT5 or Trico will release in 2009.

8. Halo 3: ODST will sell 1.8 mill first week and over 3 million by end of year (but no more than 3.5 mill).

9. Alan Wake gets 94% on Gamerankings, sells 650,000 copies 1st week and over 1.5 mill by end of year.

10. Heavy Rain gets 83% on Gamerankings and sells 210,000 copies 1st week worldwide and barely reaches ½ mill before end of year.

11. Infamous gets 82% on Gamerankings, sells 240,000 copies 1st week and 700,000 by end of year.

12. MS will drop a bomb and win E3 again.
