This would boost sales unbelievably, not only that but bring large profit to sony.

I wish Okami 2 would come. But I don't mind seeing GTA4 : Vice City or GTA4: San Andreas coming to PS3. If it is true of course.

Ya man its one of the best games I have ever played. I have over 120 hours clocked on it with me and my friends playing (sometimes co-op sometimes not). Have you ever played it co-op because if you havent you dont know what your missing.

If this is true, expect Rockstars profit to shrink (at least short term) unless Sony pays most of their Dev ocsts that is or not all the games become sony exclusives.

I still believe Sony has a chance when/if blue ray wins the format war. 

Will GTA4 still come to the 360? If not thats gonna be a HUGE blow to M$

I have my doubts about this happening soon. If it happened in the next say...6 months it would mean:

1) A Sony published game would appear on Xbox 360 (GTA IV)
2) Rockstar would be limited to the console with the smallest userbase (at the moment) even as it remains in serious financial trouble (especailly since Manhunt and GTAIV both got delayed). I saw a report where Pachter estimated that by the time GTA IV comes out, Take Two's cash reserves would be under 50 million (not good).
3) If Rockstar is sold, the infusion of money would help Take Two short term, but long term? Huge loss of potential profit (unless the sum from buying Rockstar is in the $billions).
4) Microsoft has already paid for downloadable content for GTA IV. The sum was $50 million. With that ground work in place, Take Two probably could have engaged Microsoft and Sony in bidding wars for exclusive content.

I think this makes a lot more sense if it does happen in say..10 months than it does right now.

If they were to just cancel the 360 stuff for GTAIV, that would be a big blow. However, I believe I've read that it wont affect the game on the 360 or the DLC Microsoft already paid for. However, maybe it could help bring more extra content on the PS3 version rather than the 360 version? Still, other exclusive games sounds nice for the fans of them (I haven't played a whole lot of their games).

There's likely no way to back out of that contract without involving a huge lawsuit. They've already paid Rockstar a lot of money for the exclusive content. Hell, they could probably sue if they end up thinking the game was puposely made worse on the 360 compared to the PS3 to make people want the PS3 version.
