Forums - Sales Discussion - First day sales in Japan - Dissidia, Tales of Hearts, Gundam Musou 2

I likes the Fable 2 numbers.

I must admit I dunno if that Bleach number was true, but it looked legit...

Star Scream- where'd ya get it from.

I really think that Tales of Hearts is going to sell a lot more... both released same week.

That was just funny to me.

OT:

Good numbers for Tales though, and Gundam did good on PS3 (will likely do better than last years 180k opening), and okay on PS2, and bad on 360.

No way! Squall vs ultimecia - a better reason to get Dissidia

This one

FF8 is my favorite FF game ever...

good sales

Final Fantasy Dissidia (PSP) - 350,000

Tales of Hearts (DS) - 120,000

Gundam Musou 2 (PS3) - 106,000

Gundam Musou 2 (PS2) - 50,000

Gundam Musou 2 (X360) - 14,000

Suikoden Tierkreis (DS) - 40,000

JoySound (Wii) - 24,000

Fable 2 (X360) - 30,000

Fate (PS2) - 51,000

Ragnarok (DS) - 28,000

Momotaro (DS) - 28,000

The first Gundam Musou did 176,000 week one on PS3...not sure if this version can do that week one with 106,000 it seems unlikely. Crisis Core did 350,000 day one...and 490,000 week one this should be similar. Tales of Hearts should do 150k to 200k.  Nothing too remarkable really just a big week for software. DS should be over 200,000 again, PSP should be up to 120,000 at least, maybe 150,000. PS3 and 360 will be up...Wii too. PS2 flattish.

Very good numbers all around. A little low for ToH (I think) and GM2 for the X360.

Otherwise, it's a robust market. And holy crap @ Fable 2 - it doubled Fable 1's LTD in a day.

Amazing that it'd do that. Western RPGs have an Eastern home on the X360.
