Every gen it gets worse. With greater advances in console technology, advances in ease of programming does not catch up. This could be seen during the launch of the PS3, but now they've gotten better, but still you get my point. Now the Wii, the Wii isn't a fancy-pants HD console with high-end graphics and an ultra-advanced CPU, hypothetically making it easier to develop for. Then again, whith multiplat releases being more and more common, porting a 360 and PS3 game to the Wii can be difficult, with a big technical hurdle to leap in order to keep the graphics "current". Has Nintendo actually hurt itself in development ease by being too simple to develop for? (Yes I know that was a confusing question)
