I don't think either of those scored as low as 29, WKC 100k first week, 150k LTD IMO.

 

Only 100k first week? that's basically the sales of a 360 JRPG, I don't think it'll sell that low.... but then again, WKC isn't bundled like I predicted it would be. Maybe I'll change my prediction to 200k opening week instead.

Oh I wasn´t expecting this kind of score. I wonder how much a score like this from Famitsu could effect sales ot the game?

Still could be a good game I suppose, famitsu reviews aren´t always that credible are they?

That's an average of "8", while in the West the average score for IU is 68,4%. Nuff said huh.

You don't get it, this game was supposed to be the very first real epic, exclusive RPG for on the PS3. Valkyria Chronicles is so far still the "best" out there on the PS3 only sells the worst, since no one cares about Strategy.

TLR is far from crap. Try playing a game instead of reading reviews.. maybe check mrstickball's thread about TLR or play it yourself. But wait, you're the girl who thinks SO4 is going to PS3 because of some cover art missing the 360 logo, even though BioShock had "Only of 360" on it and there are multiple people in that thread posting cover art of many of the same games with and without the logo that are exclusive.

Even if TLR/etc was crappy and got higher scores, what's that saying about WKC? Ouch.. next time don't buy system for one new IP that hasn't come out yet, especially when that system lacks in that fields genre. It should be bought for multiple games. Stop whining to us...

 

  and nintendogs scored higher than TLR what does that say about that? And HAZE was around the same score. Guess nintendogs is the better game with HAZE being equal

 

And I can promise you that Nintendogs is a better game than both. Jeez, just because it's not suited to your needs doesn't mean it isn't a great game.
I understand it's dissapointing if you had high hopes for this, but this kind of damage control is ridiculous.

Anyway: 29/40 is very dissapointing. I'm sure it will affect sales somewhat, but not too much. I'm still expecting at least 200k LTD Japan.

I think it's funny that many people here think it will be a much better game than TLR or IU.
Yes Famitsu scores are unreliable, but this game was on the list of most anticipated games in Japan, so there was a lot hype.

Now why do you people think it will be better than TLR or IU. They have gotten a good to great score from Famitsu, but they suck in the opinion of Western reviewers.
Why should an even worse scored game reach a higher score in the Western mgzies/internet articls ???

That doesn't make any sense

Well.. NEXT!! let's hope star ocean 4 is the jrpg to get! ... for consoles... *goes playing one of the gazillion jrpgs on his DS...*
