And how about the people who bought the PS3 just for the Blu Ray? I know maybe 7 people with PS3's out of which 2 only bought it for their TVs

I think it will for two reasons; GT games sell well for a loooong time, the other installments in the series have shown us as much.
Also; I believe that this will be the only full GT title on the PS3 platform which will spurr GT fans to buy it since its probably the only chance of playing the series this gen.

This game is taking an eternity to come out. With the amount of work being put into it how much will this game cost. $70 is my guess.

It will cost $60, they will sell enough, and Prologue will have made them more then enough money to keep going, especially as they made so much last gen

I never realized how fun racing sims were untill I played the Grid demo. Does anyone know of a good racing sim to get until GT5 is out?

GT5 development cost is HUGE but its demo can sell 3+ million and recover the cost. So GT5 sales will be much needed profit for Sony.

Also remember huge series like GT sell systems, and with it many more additional games because must people only own 1 console.

 well that is impressive, especially when you keep in mind that it sold just 380k in its first week in others. it took 7 weeks to cross the one million mark in others. So maybe in week 8 or 9 in EU.
