This is why I put the Wiimote covers on and make sure straps are on when my nephew or any girls use my Wii. I have seen a lot of close calls with glasses on the coffee table almost being hit.

What a loser. Too close to the tv and obviously ignorant to the safety straps!

My uncle threw the Wii remote really hard (bowling again) and it hit the VCR/DVD and bounced off to hit the skirting board.

Luckily the VCR/DVD was only cosmetically hurt (the front panel came off) and there was a slight dent in wood of the skirting board.
The Wii Remote looked unhurt.... although for a couple of months it sometimes sounded different when the rumble was powerful, but it stopped that now.

Other than that, I hit it on a chair I left in the way, trapping my finger between the remote and the chair.... this was the first day I had it, so I learnt not to put things in the way from then on.

If he is left handed, why is he using a right handed Mii?

The video looks fake but it is funny. I just think that if someone did break their TV, they wouldn't post it on the net. Also, he didn't look very surprised or upset about it. For those reasons, it doesn't seem very real to me.

I can see though how someone could accidentally let go out of the remote while playing. I think it did once slip from my hand or almost slip while playing but I did have the strap on tight. I always wear it if I'm playing Wii Sports or any game where you might move the controller quickly. I think it's more comfortable to wear the strap anyway since otherwise, it's just keeps hitting you in the arm becoming slightly annoying.

I LoL`ed... but seriosly,why not go bowling? Cheaper and more fun.

Why not play tennis? great fun and great exercise.

Why buy wiifit to do yoga when you can do yoga in your livingroom and not buy anything?

I think that is the real problem.
