My uncle threw the Wii remote really hard (bowling again) and it hit the VCR/DVD and bounced off to hit the skirting board.
Luckily the VCR/DVD was only cosmetically hurt (the front panel came off) and there was a slight dent in wood of the skirting board.
The Wii Remote looked unhurt.... although for a couple of months it sometimes sounded different when the rumble was powerful, but it stopped that now.
Other than that, I hit it on a chair I left in the way, trapping my finger between the remote and the chair.... this was the first day I had it, so I learnt not to put things in the way from then on.
