and to OP it won't come down to games.  The Wii and PS3 both have a decent and good amount of great games.  What I would think about if I had to choose would be how often are you playing with a bunch of friends over.  If you have friends over and like to play multiplayer with them (not online, so inpersonal imo) then there is no decision.  The Wii wins hands down.

If not, then you may want to take into account the list of games, but heck I can't afford to get all the games on somoenes list, so I would get a couple and then buy games slowly coming out.  I can't spend 2k on games every year like it seems plenty on here do

Yeah I just looked into it, see a few people with bigger sigs than me so don't think it would be a problem, I'll make everything smaller later. +1 for quote of the year though.

Having all three, i would say the best combination of two consoles is wii60, money wise as well.

If you do plan on getting ps3 wait for a couple of months, you don't want to miss that price cut that is bound to happen.

I do say get both sooner or later.

Wii because it is much cheaper.

The Wii is a much different type of gaming experience to the 360 and has many exlusives that are not on it . The PS3 is more similar and has many of the same games. If you want something different get a Wii. If you want something along similar lines, get a PS3. This is my unbiased opinion.

If price is no issue, then why not get both?

i got ps3 about 2,3 weeks ago so i can't help u alot but
i have lbp an believe me it is so great every day i play it it is sooo fun

other games i'm interested in are motorstorm 2, god of war 3 and heavy rain
