well at least it outsold the psp lol. and i think that the problem with the global economy hurt the sales of the ps3 since it didnt get a price cut. but it could be much worse right now. at least its selling good. what i am trying to say is that despite the ps3 having all this obstacles: the worldwide recession, the others consoles being more cheap and the console being so overpriced, its selling great.

AKA it's time for a pricecut to spur sales. I remember when the 360 started going down YoY while they were holding onto the initial 400$ price tag - how many months did they go through until the pricecut, four?

This is such a junk argument, and I see it everywhere. The reason the 360 and Wii wouldn't sell at $400 is because they are not offering 400$ worth of hardware. Simple. Its the same reason that the PS3 would sell like hotcakes at the 360 price point. The fact is that each console is priced differently, according to what it offers. You can't just interchange the prioces and the console the prices go to. It honestly sounds like damage control for the PS3, claiming that people are only buying the 360 and Wii because of price.

well i dont think a price cut will come yet, if it was me id do it mid march or mabey feb.

You're right, only the Wii is being shipped from Amazon itself, the rest are the usual rip-offs.

Very true. I've been hearing this argument since PS3's European launch, so at this point it goes in one ear and out the other.
