No they are not. This is the second holiday season for the PS3 in Europe and it's down from last year. No matter how optimistic one is, that can't be seen as great.

 

 

 well if i am correct there was a price cut last holiday for the ps3 right? so there was like a hype for the ps3 last holiday and although this holiday is still at the same price there is no hype for the ps3 and with the big resurgence of the 360 and the wii being so successful the ps3 is overshadowed. at least for a 400$ console is selling good.

Agreed, but that doesn't mean it's doing great.

 

 

 well at least it outsold the psp lol. and i think that the problem with the global economy hurt the sales of the ps3 since it didnt get a price cut. but it could be much worse right now. at least its selling good. what i am trying to say is that despite the ps3 having all this obstacles: the worldwide recession, the others consoles being more cheap and the console being so overpriced, its selling great.
