@Superchunk : why do you say that AMD is a better choice ? As a PC buyer since 10 years , faithful to AMD for 5 years, if i had to buy a PC now, it would be based on C2D ...

RAM: 2 Gigs (4X512mb)

HDD: 300 GB

Video Card: Radeon X800 GT 256MB

Monitor: Viewsonic 20.1 Widescreen

OS: XP

I'm planning on upgrading but i'm waiting for Direct X10 GPU prices to fall a little and for Vista to improve

Motherboard: ABIT KN8 (with nforce 4 chipset, booo!!!)
Operating System: Fedora Core 6 (primary), Vista x64 ultimate (for newer games)

I'm going to be installing XP pro 32 bit again soon, I'm really tired of putting up with Vista's limitations. FC6 needs to be upgraded to FC7 as well.
