seems like the so-called "race" between Mario Party and Hot Shots Golf is even clearer after this week.

but hardware sales for the PS3 are quite good while Wii's are mediocre compared to other weeks (and still assuming that there came some extra units along with MP8)

no actually..all hardware sales are pretty bad atm

yeah true, i just looked up the ps3 sales of last week and I didn't remember they where that high (almost 40k), so this is a huge drop-off.

Seems like the preliminary look was off on MP8 and HSG5. But it was just that, preliminary.

Why is 60k for the Wii "mediocre"? It did 74k during a major holiday, and dropped back to 60k - roughly normal levels?

Same applies for the PS3 - although the drop off was more significant (but still selling above "normal" levels) - 37k --> 20k.

MP8 sales are excellent - more than 50% of last weeks figure. More than 400k sold already.

Not so good for MNG5 - dropped from 184k --> 40k (approx)  - or to 22% ofthe first weeks sales.

20k for Face training - pretty impressive, for an insane title.

Forever Blue slightly disappointing - but its hard to know what the shipment was, and how news of the bug affected sales.

Magnetic Kid deserves more (I think..?).

as I said shams, assuming that there was a bigger shipment along with MP8. I think there are some signs that the wii stops selling out in japan. this would be, compared to previous weeks, mediocre. of course, compared to the other consoles it's still great, but to see tendencies it's better to look at trends, and they show me that the wii is might losing some steem.
