To make the black text boxes:

1. Do a rich text reply (normal reply, not the quick reply at the bottom of the thread)
2. Select the text you want to black out
3. On the toolbar select the A with a little gray box under it.
4. A pull down menu will drop down with a bunch of colors, select black
5. Select the button next to it, the abwith the pencil looking thing next to it, and do the same thiong
