I just have one question - did the fool who threw his shoes at Bush leave WITH his shoes?

A manly president similar to Andrew Jackson would have done that.

Oh, don't get me started on Andrew Jackson... that bastard booted my people off of our land (and caused my great-grandfather to be an orphan) so he's not exactly the model of a man in my book.

Woohoo, I like you more because you hate Andrew Jackson.  Ironically he is a distant relative of mine.  He's such a bastard...even pissing me off from the grave.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

That's hilarious. And he's got surprisingly good reflexes.

That was the first thing that I thought too... damn, our president ducked a flying object that was thrown full-speed at him from 6 feet away... twice!  Those are some great reflexes.

That's why people voted for him. Twice. Skills like that.

I would like to see George W. Bush kick the idiot who threw the shoes in the head. That would teach the stupid Iraqi not to mess with Georgie Double Ya.

BTW: I hope George W. Bush's body guards killed the jerk who threw the shoes. That is what would happen if anyone had of messed with Saddam back in the day.
