Remember some people saying...VGC is too biased against ps3, I'll wait for NPD...LOL...bang bang bang....that's the nail in the coffin for all the predictions of ps3 blowing the 360 out of the water in 2008...but maybe it will in 2009.

The more PS3 fans clamour about this the more pathetic the PS3 sales sound. I'm sorry, but that is how, I and I'm sure most people see it. >_>

The sales are good, but I wouldn't party over it.

At least when the Gamecube did this poorly, Nintendo still managed to make a profit. (They made more money on the Gamecube than Microsoft made on the X-box, and Sony made on PS2. That's something to brag about!)

Its not that the PS3 couldn't sell more at $400, its the fact that to some people its not the best VALUE. Apple is selling more iPhones/Month that sony is selling PS3's, because people can see the iPhone have better VALUE.

When Sony does drop its price, the arguement will still be there, Does the XBOX360(which will also be at a lower price) offer me better value?

People also have to remember that the price of standalone BLU-RAY players will drop faster than the PS3 pricing, making the XBOX360 perceived value higher as time goes on

Ps3 sold is pretty much equal to Mac for that period, but far above Iphone (nowhere near Ipod though, which is pretty much DS+PsP combined).
