you're hardly going out on a limb when you say that the wii is gonna win...
the Wii is an epidemic.
Some people would disagree, Lingyis.
I am not one of those people, though :P

You know it used to be "it all comes down to the games"
All three consoles have strong line-ups coming up, Wii has a much weaker libray than 360. Even when you consider casual titles, 360 has the better selling Madden and it had GHII, but Wii still outsells it. So many people still can't seem to figure this out. Here is why:
-Rapport with consumers, Sony has been very bad at building customer rapport. There system is advertised as complex and elitist.
-Ease of use. Not HD, you wanna play games you are going to pretty much get the same game on any TV, with the same cables. The Tech-savvy are the minority. Most people don't even know what an HD TV is or are still out of their reach, never mind own one.
-Quality and Customer Service. (Here's looking at you MS.)
-Payola, that's right I said it. Nintendo is paying TV and Print media to talk about and or show footage of people playing Wii and DS consoles. Just like movie companies pay off USA Today to have 30 articles about certain movies.
-Accessabilty and Comfort. Easy interface, Nintendo music, Big easy to read text. I hate the tiny text on my PS3 and when I had a 360. Some games it's so small you can read it. Even when people go HD, they still are mostly going to have TV from 20-35 inches. My House isn't big enough for more, and bigger ones are too expensive, gaudy, and repulsive if you ask me. I used to have a bigger TV. I hate walking into my house and seeing a living room dominated by a TV.
-No acronyms, no big or difficult words, everthing has a name that means what it is or looks like. Six-Axis = Most people don't know what they mean by six axis, there are only three that make up movement, and many don't know what axis means anyway. XMB, so sony has something that's called something that has an X in it confusing customers on branding... real smart. Xbox Live ("I don't know what it does and it cost money?") or WiiConnect. the Nunchuck (the most complicated part of basic wii parts but sounds fun to me). Wii Remote.
Edit: I did some research and found out that six axis movement is the only way to accomplish 4D gameplay.
Most people just don't care about online play or HD. They don't. Sorry.
On a side note I do care about online play and HD.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
