Anyway, since the Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn thread was extremely popular I hope we can have the same for Shadow Dragon.

Shadow Dragon is a DS remake of the first Fire Emblem for the NES, that never released outside of Japan. It is a Strategy RPG. Anyone that has a DS and likes some strategy: GET THIS GAME!

The game's "lord" is Marth, also known from the Smash Bros games (and although he looks a bit like Roy and Ike, the three main FE lords have nothing to do with each other.

So far I'm in Chapter 5 and really love the game. Tip for people that start the game (thanks Rol!): start on Normal, even if you're an experienced gamer, since you'll gain a character and EXP.

Some rules: since this thread will probably be a lot about stats and characters those are not considered spoilers, but please tag or blackout the plot spoilers.

Little bit further now, the game is absolutely amazing. But man, how many characters can you have in the first few chapters alone? Really much more than the previous ones.

Picking it up tomorrow, but I am going to have to wait until I finish some other games before I start it. :(

Wait a minute... How did this completely avoid my radar? Having only started the series with PoR and loving it, I'm dying to play some more of them. This may very well be my first imported game.

I´m at chapter 10 playing it on hard 1. It´s actually easy so far for me. It´s better than the GC, Wii FE offerings, typical for handheld FE.

Some tips: Wolf and Segdar are ideal characters to reclass. They´ll both make excellent Generals and Heroes. Wolf has a bit higher str and Segdar a bit higher def. Cord and Bord suck, Barst is great though and makes a very good fighter/pirate. Gordin(Gaggles) and Jangen (lol) suck badly. Quite different from the rest, the game actually rewards for killing your units with 'gaiden' chapters. If you manage to have less than 15 units in your roster throughout the game, you´ll enter extra chapters at some points and be able to recruit new characters in these. I´m going to do that in my next playthrough on hard3.
