VG Chartz has Wii at 2 million for 2008 and the DS at 3 million. massively overtracked.

What's insane is that the 360 almost sold it's entire LTD (from 05 through 07) in 2008 alone. Very impressive.

Good numbers overall - Wii may be overtracked, but still has a commanding lead.

I guess the more than 60% of a consoles sales sold at $199 price statistic that MS was handing out when they dropped price is true.

was this true for GC n PS2 n xbox.....were 60% of their sales made after dropping to $199??

I can't find the chart, but it's certainly the case. Microsoft produced a chart that showed that roughly 60% of Playstation 2's sold at the $199 price point. The rest of the 40% sold either above $199, or below it.

Really, i think it's the number for the end of 2007. We made a thread about these numbers (i will search the thread), and at this time, we already said that the number were for the end of 2007, because Nintendo speak about its sales in Europe for the end of 2007, so it must be the same for France.

More precisely, wii was at 1,28m for the end of 2007.

As i said before, these numbers were given by nintendo when they speak about their numbers for Europe at the end of 2007. So, it's the same in France.

Now, i expect we will keep this thread to speak about hardware sales in France, and not change the thread, because it's not easy to find old informations.
