Damn I was just suppose to post those numbers... Seems like Gundam isn't selling the same units as MH2 did. Can't wait for the real numbers next week. If Gundam haven't driven sales what is next?

So Gundam Musou will not be the killer-app that I was scared of ? Then PS3 is in trouble... (yes, yes, yes !! ) (sorry for my english..)

As everyone said before, few people are going to buy a $600 system for one game? Oh wait, I thought that Gundam Musou was supposed to spur the PS3 to be more successful than the Wii

Don't be so cruel...but yes it would be nice to hear what all those people that thought Gundam would kick the Wii from the lead think about these numbers. If those number is correct Wii will most probarbly still win this week.

Indeed, it looks like a huge failure. Software around 100k is ok - userbase is pretty thin so it is still 1 of 7 PS3 owners... but no hardware boost... situation of Sony in Japan is getting worse and worse. I can understand VF5 because it's fighting game but this one is a GUNDAM game. I counted for boost around 100k PS3. Producers may start to worry because of huge budget of PS3 games. Not good.

Heck even I get affraid when somebody post like that. Yes 100k is more than ok, I think it is great sales. The only thing is that many said first wait for VF5 then wait for Gundam and wait for ????

Umm, 100k on day#1 is pretty excellent - close to 200k for the week (or maybe 150k - triple what VF5 did). No great surprise, about expectations. PS3 hardware will boost - but not past Wii (and new Wii titles are coming as well). Maybe 40k-50k for the week. Still positive news - what is really important is how much it sells next week: 50k+ = good/excellent 30k = expected 10k-20k = poor less than 10k (won't happen) terrible

Your question often comes up between Japanese game fun. And most of them gives an evasive answer... Additioal, the first shipment of Gundam Musou is about 170~180k. And probably, the second shipment is next Monday. So the maximum sales in this week is about 170~180k.
