Ironically, I can't imagine it being much longer than the average game. In spite of cutscenes being bad, pretty much every moment in the game is acted out and voiced by people and you're essentially playing a literally interactive cutscene.

This game is going to be one of the most expensive games in history if we go by dollars-per-hour

Your negativism is valid since you don't seem to like games like Indigo Prophecy, but remember there are people like me and some on this thread that really like this genre,if Sony advertize this title (that many of us doubt it,sadly)and get more hyped,it will perform good, very good indeed for a game on this genre.

I liked Indigo Prophecy a lot

It's just the nature of a heavily story-based game with that much acting in it with a FRACTAL multi-linear storyline that any one path isn't going to be very long

Cage already said that the game should be about 12 hours long I think it was, but because of the way the game is build, there should be a huge amount of replay value.
I hope he's right.

Pure ownage. I hope the game to be everything they're promising.

This game doesn't seem to have the sales potential to justify what must be a very large budget. Sometimes I wonder if Sony funds these games to prove a point about the capabilities of th PS3. I thought Indigo Prophecy sold 750k. This game looks great, but it doesn't sound like it will recover its costs.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

If the storyline is great then people will play this game, in flocks. There are many people like me today who play video games purely based on storyline. IP wasn't advertised at all, it sold basically on word of mouth. If Sony advertises this game properly it could cross over to the sophisticated layer of film connaisseurs and inspire a whole genre of interactive movies for adults.
