So there's a really beaten horse of an article on PSXtreme about how MS and Sony can ignore Nintendo". I wont go into too much detail on it, because we've already read the same old arguments 100 times here on VGChartz. While the article itself is enough of an ignorant statement with very few, if any, facts in it, the responses from the "community", (and I use that term loosely - after all a collection of village idiots does not a community make) were far worse and more ignorant.
Now you say, "DUH welcome to the internet" and I say "TANX!" and wipe the snot and drool off my face. What the issue is here is that Google News doesn't seem to give a f**k what they leave open to the public for their news links, and leave this sort of drivel of an editorial in plain view of the general masses of web surfers. So, Joe Schmo goes and thinks "Oh, I wonder what factual news I can get here from this article" and isn't smart enough to know that the site is full of raging fanboys. So, his opinion gets formed by these wastes of ovaries and sperm, and now he starts going around touting what he read as fact, which then infects other people he comes into contact with.
Its sort of like HIV. Hang out with some questionable people, hook up, get the HIV, don't know it, pass it on to your next GF and other people who would normally not hang out with questionable people, further infecting the general, otherwise dumb and innocent, population.
So what the hell is my point? There needs to be SOME sort of moderation of the news articles and their sources on google news. Editorials should not be posted as news - EVER.
