An editorial is not news, there is no opinion in that. It is a fact.
There is a reason why the editorial page is explictly marked in a newspaper. It is so it doesn't get confused with the actual news. A news article is factual. An editorial is opinion, although it may be based in factual evidence.

I agree. Stuff like that has no place being right next to the news. The problem is that Google news is completely automated.
I saw that article last night and thought about letting the posters here rip it to shreds. It was so bad, I decided against it.
