Forums - Sales Discussion - GfK: Xbox 360 sales increased 124% from last NOV, but...

Acording to Vgchartz the increase was 220%. Which mean 360 is over tracked and PS3 with just 3% increase is dead on. So congrats VGz to get almost 100% correct on PS3 . . Remember guys these are Europe numbers and not Total Others. I can sleep little bit better now.

Thanks to Eagle:

2007 84 58 45 37 224

Europe isn't the whole of Others, I don't think?

Hrm....

It's talking about UK, not all of Others.

Simple mistake.

He is talking about Europe.

That is pretty accurate.

The VGChartz data do show a much higher rate than GfK reports. Above I quickly summed Others Total without Australia and Others for the 4 weeks in November - which shows a 220% increase. To get to the 124% increase, either 2007 was undertracked or 2008 overtracked - around 50k per week discrepancy. I think its more the case that 2007 is undertracked and 2008 slightly overtracked.

It's obvious this site is way wrong with their 360 numbers. Anyone in Europe can just go into any store and see for themselves how much better PS3 i selling and how much bigger store space PS3 has.

360 numbers here have been ridiculous in the last few months.

So awesome to finally get proof showing everybody how wrong they've been.

EaglesEye379,

There is no chance of 2007 numbers being over tracked or under tracked.
