Forums - Sales - OMG !!!! Boogie is going to "bomb" !!

This game will appeal to girls I think. I would try it but I can't see myself buying it. I bet girls would make their boyfriends buy it if they didn't own a Wii themselves. Anyways I do see this game selling more than Ninja Gaiden Sigma but that's not saying much. But then again this game probably costs a fraction of what it cost to make NGS.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma was a port though. The majority of the game was already made.

And like I said before, they ARE showing ads for the game.

I saw a tv ad a few days ago that wad actually kinda funny. I forget what I was watching, but I was surprised that EA was advertising on the show and channel I was watching(might have been the Biography channel or something like that). The ad was also very adult oriented and it really surprised toward the end when it turned out to be a Boogie ad. I'd even say it's one of the more risque ads I've ever saw on American tv. That being said, I'm sure EA will have a different ad for other shows with younger viewers. About Boogie's sales, if it is a hit it will only do so through holiday sales and showing legs into next year; it's doubtful it's sales will be heavily frontloaded. I think EA will be lucky to break 250k+ by the end of December.

"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."

There was an ad for it on Adult Swim.

"Ho! Haha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!" -- Daffy Duck

I got Boogie pegged @ 100k for August through October on the prediction league. Far below the average I believe. This comes as no surprise.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Amazon is a crappy indicator. Though the game will still bomb.

i thought they would hold this title back untill the holiday season, its the usual gimmick party game that sells like crazy at that time. Maybe they will push promotions of it later down the line.

A copy of singstar, and dancing. I dont know if it will bomb..

Well I never thought it do well but I've been seeing some Boogie commercials on the TV so it's obvious EA is advertising it. And it's usually quite hard for a title to completely bomb with some kind of advertising.

I haven't seen any ads either but the security gaurd at my job asked me if I was getting. I asked him how he heard of it, he said "I saw stuff on tv". I don't know.

What do you guys think for first week, then second, third and fourth?

Me: 15k, 10, 9, 7. Lifetime 60k (including a price cut) That's average, I think.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
