If you read my first post I said this is kind of interesting. I said nothing about this is what gamers want. All I posted this for was that it was pretty cool and interesting. I never said that the PS3 will sell more because more people are looking at the trailers. This thread has gone downhill right when the first person said he bets.

Good risky bets would be choosing between GT5 vs Halo 3 vs Galaxy vs GTA4 (Combined) WW lifetime sales or MGS4 vs FFXIII vs Gears2 vs next Zelda WW lifetime sales or if you really want unpredictablity choose between KZ2 vs Warhawk vs RockBand vs Mass Effect vs Bioshock WW lifetime sales.

Bioshock vs. MP3 would be an interesting matchup.

Are we including PC numbers with that or just the 360?

I have got to get in on this GT5 VS MARIO thing. My prediction is:

These are based on what they will look like 6 years from know.
GT5 is going to be the biggest GT game to date. With Home at its side GT will have the biggest community of any game in history. GT3 sold better than GT4 due to the fact that many saw GT4 as an expansion pack to three. And without online play alot of people were turned off by GT4. With GT5 it is a hole new game a hole new system and a lot more content. Car magazines and companys will be pushing this game like no tommorow and car guys are all about community. Once Home has Corvette, Mustang, and Viper clubs GT will be even more of a phenom than it curently is.

Mario Galaxy is going to be the Best Mario game since the N64 version. I don't think it will top that game because it is stil my favorite game of all time, even above Jak and Daxter and FFX. It will be good enoughf to bring a lot of people back that were waiting for a real mario game on the Gamecube. However it is not going to be able to reach the numbers GT because, it will not be a community game. I hope poeple will not be mad at these numbers because, I think I am being very fair, and please remember this is based on what I predict the sales to be in 6 years from know so the PS3 user base shoul be over 70 million.

I can't see GT5 gettng 19.5 million sales.. That's about 5 million above the best selling game in the GT series so far. And that was on a console with a extremely dominant installed base.

I'll bet anyone my avatar for six months (You get to decide the picture but if I win I decide yours (Nothing obscene)) that Metroid Prime 3 will get a higher average review score on gamerankings.com* two weeks after than HS, Bioshock and Resistance 2.

*if you don't want that site tell me one you do and I'll see.

I'll take that bet. I bet Bioshock will receive a higher average review score by the media than Metroid Prime 3.

(Just in case you didn't know, Bioshock actually beat out Super Mario Galaxy in the Best Action/Adventure Game category in the game critics awards (36 members of the media voted in the awards).  Metroid Prime 3 lost out in it's category (Best Action Game) to Call of Duty 4...).

 Don't do it, Bioshock has 2 known reviews: 97% and 100%. Insomniac games always score good and HS looks good, not saying it won't happen but after the first 2 Bioshock scores, it's a dangerous bet for you.

MP3 won't score as high just because they won't be able to give the graphics the highest score since its on the Wii.

As for SMG, SMBB, and Mario Kart. Those were the 3 best selling GC games, about 6 million sold each.

The Wii versions will do at least that well over there lifetime. No way Bioshock, Heavenly Sword, or MP3 will be even close to these.
