I have got to get in on this GT5 VS MARIO thing. My prediction is:
Japan US EU Total
GT5 2.5 9 8 19.5
Mario 1.5 6 3 10.5

These are based on what they will look like 6 years from know.
GT5 is going to be the biggest GT game to date. With Home at its side GT will have the biggest community of any game in history. GT3 sold better than GT4 due to the fact that many saw GT4 as an expansion pack to three. And without online play alot of people were turned off by GT4. With GT5 it is a hole new game a hole new system and a lot more content. Car magazines and companys will be pushing this game like no tommorow and car guys are all about community. Once Home has Corvette, Mustang, and Viper clubs GT will be even more of a phenom than it curently is.

Mario Galaxy is going to be the Best Mario game since the N64 version. I don't think it will top that game because it is stil my favorite game of all time, even above Jak and Daxter and FFX. It will be good enoughf to bring a lot of people back that were waiting for a real mario game on the Gamecube. However it is not going to be able to reach the numbers GT because, it will not be a community game. I hope poeple will not be mad at these numbers because, I think I am being very fair, and please remember this is based on what I predict the sales to be in 6 years from know so the PS3 user base shoul be over 70 million.
