Forums - General - Tea vs. Coffee

Tea FTW!

Tea has been around much longer than the other stuff. It has no calories, comes in a variety of natural flavors, and has numerous health benefits.

Energy Drinks! If I'm going to poison myself with caffeine, I may as well add bull spit (That's what taurine is) and various b vitamins and ginseng!
Note: I've been awake 5 hours and I've had 2 full throttles and one Rock Star. When I do go off it, the withdrawal will turn me into sleeping fuzzy.

-Edit- I also had a Sobe No Fear when I woke up. 5 hours in the day, and twice the recommonded dose on the bottle. I'll talk to you all after my third heart attack!

Tea for me.

I usually get mocked for it at least once a week, but I have a little red teapot I keep at my desk so I can have hot tea all day and I don't have to drink the prepackaged crap.

I generally like to go down to Whole Foods, get a bunch of different varieties of tea for like $6-8 that lasts me a good month, and get to mix and match my own combinations of tea. Favorite so far is :1/2 Green Tea, 1 Part Jasmine, 1/2 cinnamon cadomon herbs or 1/2 Hibiscus (depending on my mood).

Tea- 5 million (too expensive)

As I said, I can get a months supply of tea for $6-8 and that's even getting the good quality kind (usually some kind of white tea, a few varieties of green, and then a few random herbs/flowers).  Not too expensive at all. ^^

I love coffee, but I need tea!

Some foods just need to be eaten with a cup of tea, except chinese takeaway which needs green tea. Coffee is for drinking with pastries and when I'm at work. As far as I'm concerned this is pretty much the law and anyone who disagrees is wrong in the head!

You guys are just a niche market. Clearly water out-sells and out-classes both of your stupid products.

Here are some stats:
99.9% of the people in the world drink water
Water is cheaper and clearer
Water comes from the sky
On topic: coffee

An an Englishman I'd like to argue that what you list is not tea.....it's tea with other crap mixed in with it!!
When will the world realise that real tea is black and has MILK put in it!!
In Russia and latvia which is where I am now you get a strange look when you ask for tea with milk as they either have it black or have green tea which I believe is also counted as a tea to those less refined in the world
