Nice trolling, but don't you forget "one" platform? Right, "PlayStation 3".

Not the case in NY. Wii has the biggest shelf space by far.

In NY, the 360 has the biggest shelf space. The ps3 and psp are always far off the back.

Who to believe? Psrock or Bolero..
In MIAMI, they all have equal shelf space in Best buy, except the psp.

i have noticed that over the past year the wii shelf space has slowly over taken the other consoles... It is now about 30% bigger than the 360 shelf space at most retailers (last year it was the other way around)
I am guessing the Wii is claiming more of the shrinking PS2 shelf space than the other consoles....
the bad thing is... the new space is occupied by mostly shovelware...
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Around here, Wii has moved to a newer place closer to the entrance in nearly all stores (Best Buy, Future Shop). The Xbox 360 is taking the main place in the video game section. As for the PS3, it's located near the PS2 section but the PS2 is bigger.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
bigjon: it makes sense. shovelware sells fast because of casuals. nintendo needs money and if they release core games or allow 3rd parties to release them it will not sell. its better to give more space to casuals and shovelware because they sell better and nintendo knows it.
microsoft also know shovelware and casual games dont sell very well on 360 and thats why it allows only great core games. both companies are winning.
ps3 isnt selling too well thats why no retailer wants to stock games

i agree, the wii is upfront, but the 360 has more spaces which is right, they have more games. But in gamestop, the ps2's used games takes so much space.

To be clear: I'm not talking about shelf space. The Wii does have more shelf space then either the PS3 or 360. It's just filled with exclusives here. Not many multiplatform games make the cut.
