I'm not big into shooters at all, but R:FOM was my favourite, and now R2 has taken that title. The gameplay is solid, the guns are fantastic, and the online co-op is, IMO, the best time I've ever had online. Medic FTW!

Dude, if you are looking for a great shooter that will entertain you for hours buy R2. Honestly I play the game at least 5 hours a day with the coop mode and single player. FPS of the year........ I haven't really seen any games this year that would qualify as FPS of the year. ........
I would go buy the game for because it is a great title to have in your library and for two it is a blast.
Ok to those saying the game is overrated, I notice you happen to be from the 360 crowd. If I am going to pester leo-J on his comments, you guys are no different.

I know I don't like this game, because of personal tastes, but I would never label it as overrated.
well as one of the few people on this thread who actually played the game yes its awesome. its my favorite FPS for 2008.
yes resistance2 is the best fps this year.. its awesome epic and the online is OMFG

I beat the game for fuck's sake.
It's the truth. Honest to god. Doesn't make it a bad game, but it does stop it short of greatness. Co-op and MP are fun though.

Yeah we talked about this before DMJ. You are right. The AI in R2 is broken. Chimera ignore your comrades completely. Also Mike, in R2 Hale is not the only Chimera-virus enhanced soldier. His whole team is enhanced. I actually prefer the single player campaign in R1. R2's single player just isn't as good.
