Reminds me of people freaking out from ATHF movie promotion signs. Remember Boston shutting down because of the electronic signs??
Great advertising,and getting aside the costs of the paper's space this proves how well made could be an advertising effort without tons of cash.
Hope to see more creative stuff from Sony on the future.
they should market something like through a commercial and sales will sky rocket.

This is good publicity stunt, but it might not increase sales as an effective as a great tv ad would, but still really good stunt.

Testing in a small market, see how it comes across, spread it to other markets? (that's the only reason I can see)
They really need to turn that into a tv spot. I like the concept and it is something I feel people would get behind. My only problem with it is basically that it is in a news paper. And most of the younger crowd who normally buy games and consoles rarely pick up a news paper anymore. There is simply to many places online or tv to get your news.
