Max, I am playing the game on Hard because the difficulty higher than that is not available yet. In gunfights I occasionally die because I hate waiting behind cover and sometimes pop my head out a bit too early. Less gun fights on lower difficulties? (I choose hard so when I beat the game I will get the Easy, Normal and Hard trophies in 1 shot)

As for people saying I should finish the game, I intend to. I am not going to let this one gripe cause me to stop playing, although I am upset that LBP is sitting on the back burner until this game is done.

No, just when I was playing on crushing the gun fights became VERY repeditative sometimes cause I died too much in certain parts. One part is when you go through a tunnel and someone is shooting a stationary machin gun at you at the other end so you lob a nade to kill him. Then you drop down into a room with water and pillars and guys drop down too. I kept dying there so many times I had to stop playing for like 2 weeks and come back.

Heh, for that part I just hung on the ledge opposite of the side he was on and pulled off a nice long distance headshot when he would just barely poke it out from the top of the turret. I did it with the handgun by the way.

Headshots are all I do.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Tell me exacxtly what part of the story your at so I know what happens next... Have you found the foot prints next to the booby trap that was made out of your plane?

Sadly shooting is apart of most "big" games these days....

4 ≈ One

There is probably too much shooting, but there is still plenty of exploration

I 100% agree with you. It is indeed sad that for games to get recognition these days they need to have guns and shooting. Look at most of the top games this gen, most involve guns.

Top games of 2008 everywhere you look has guns.

MGS4 - Check

GeOW2 - Check

Resistance 2 - Check

GTA IV - Check

Left 4 Dead - Check

Fallout 3 - Check

Fable 2 - Check (Yes, they even had to add a gun into this game, lol)

LittleBigPlanet - No Guns

You could guess what game I think stands out above the rest.

@Max

I just recieved the keys from the top of the tower and opened the door with the crossed keys emblem like shown on the map Drake carries around. Sadly though... it only lead to yet another gun fight.

Sorry, I'm afraid the entire second half the game is pretty much just shooting. It's probaby my biggest complaint with it (it's still an excellent game though).

Moar exploring in Uncharted 2, Naughty Dog, k plz?
