There's no PS3/Wii option nor 360/Wii nor HD/Wii option. They already stated that their games will be going PS3/360/PC multiplat. Wii isn't included there.

We already know SE is not willing to give the Wii any major franchise, just shovelware, spin-offs, ports or casual games. KH3 is too important for SE to let it appear on the Wii. They won't allow it, the simple idea of it happening would probably ruin the company as too many people will resign. I say HD/PC multiplat or DS exclusive. PSP and Wii out of the question.

Maybe Wii may get a port of KH1 or the PSP game along the road. Maybe even a port of the DS or the GBA game. But as for a new game for the Wii in the KH universe, thats a NO. Wii is the platform SE is using to fund their bigger projects, that's why you see only crap on the Wii. What's funny is that none of their HD projects has sold good, but they will keep on ignoring the Wii until they run out of money expecting for another company to save them.

on the wii it's impossible, it will be on the ps3 for sure, because the character designer and the director of the kingdom hearts series is biased for the ps3.He even said so himself that the ps3 is the best because on it he can make is dreams come true.Finally, the ps2 has 3 Kingdom Hearts games and not 2( anyone forgot re-chain of memories)

I hope its exclusive to the PS3 in Japan, and I would prefer for it to be a PS3 exclusive in the West as well.

KH3 being Wii-exclusive would make sense w/ the demographic and Disney's success on it. However, SE doing something that makes sense doesn't make sense.

However, since it's SE that we are talking about, I wouldn't be surprised they take the least likely option.

I used to be a firm believer in Wii exclusivity, based on the Wii's rapidly expanding install base and Disney's liking for Nintendo.

Then I began to realize that the Wii's install base isn't translating into much higher software sales per title. Looking at major multiplatform releases, we see hardcore titles like the Force Unleashed and Madden selling much better on the ps3 (let alone the 360) than the Wii, and we see titles on the more casual side of things, like the Lego series, selling better on Wii than ps3, but coming nowhere close to the ps3 and 360 versions combined.

This, combined with SE's love for cinematic gaming, and combined with SE's seeming reluctance to seriously support the Wii at all, makes me believe the game will wind up on the ps3 and 360. Possibly timed exclusive for ps3 in Japan (or fully exclusive, like FFXIII).

I don't think they'll be doing MS any favors from this point on, because with KH3 they won't be able to blame it on dev kits like SO4, or on UE3 trouble like the Last Remnant. They'll basically have to say MS paid them outright, something I don't think they'll be keen to do.

For a game like this, development costs pale in comparison to marketing costs. So whatever platform it does end up on, expect a $30,000,000-40,000,000 marketing campaign.

Now one of the ways in which platform holders "money-hat" games is cross licencing deals and as Microsoft is more willing than most to get out their wallet to spend money on marketing, and what they have spent has proved itself effective in a lot of games such as Bioshock, Gears, Fable 2 etc.

The userbases of the PS/360 combination have proved time and again they will eat up big games like this in multi-million numbers on both systems. Also the game features characters which appear in FF and SE can assume most of their FF fanbase is on either system anyway and Disney doesn't care where it goes so long as they get their money.

So whether its exclusive, timed exclusive or whatever I say its greatest chance is to be on one of the HD systems.

I wonder if KH3 will ever get made this generation.
Given SE's pace on games, if it announced in Summer 2009, we are looking at 2011 -- or the next generation of machines before it is released.
So I predict it is a launch title for Wii2HD.
