I know different websites will do their own game of the year awards but which website does the official game of the year?Is there a sole website 4 dat?I'm thinking gamespy.

Metal Gear Solid 4 hands down.

The most auspicious awards are handed out at the Game Developer's Conference, and they are called the Game Developers' Choice Awards. Here is their website:
