Quit fucking hating.

No they haven't. Only yours and maybe some crazy people who thought it will only reach 500k sales.

There you go, ckeck out peoples predictions. Most are under the 530K opening week.

I never thought it would sell well. I don't understand why Sony still wants to spend $1 million on advertising a game that is barely on the charts.

Most of the no-sony fans are under 530k, you can check a few of sony fans putting the game above 1 million... so yeah, the game is selling ok or above of the people expectations...

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

Flame bait at it's worst.

You don't want discussion, you want to flame. If you wanted to discuss, the title should have been, "Do people still believe LBP will have legs"?

That'd be pretty douche-y, but it'd be a lot less flamey.

Anyway, yes I do.

Could be bundled forever. Can't predict the future. Or it could start selling more, or keep selling a la uncharted. who knows. Need more than 3 weeks to come to a conclusion.

LBP probably would've sold lots more if the PS3 was cheaper, but as I said, it's not over yet. The title will probably sell lots more during the holiday and when more people buy PS3s i.e. major price cut. I also did not think it would sell 2-3mill before 09 began but I can see it it at least 1.5mill WW by 1/1/09. I'm curious though, are you implying that those “other 16mill” PS3 owners that did not buy the game (yet) just don't like the it?

I have no idea why they didn't buy it I'm not in their minds. When we get Japan + Americas date for this week it will have been out in each region for 4 weeks and has failed to make a million (NOT a bad thing) so I doubt it will reach 1.5 mill by 09 with its sales slipping as they are ...

A Nintendo fan of all people should never underestimate the power of early sales. So many games suffer from bad first week or month sales on the Wii, yet continue to stay on the charts. It's weird that a Nintendo fan wouldn't give the benefit of the doubt to this game.

>_>

Obviously, the game has been out 3 weeks, so it clearly doesn't have any legs

It's kind of funny, but this is his best thread on this site.

I have very low expectations indeed.

The thing about that is.  Legs are often caused by one of four things.

1) More casual userbase

2) New People buying the console

3) People who like large numbers of games and have more games to play then time in the days.

I'm just talking about the idea of judging a game on 3 weeks of sales.

Let's give it some time before we say it doesn't have legs, eh?
