If 'barbie' games didn't appeal to Females, then I'm pretty sure EA, Nintendo, Ubisoft etc wouldn't make these games in the first place. The fact is they do, and if they didn't then these companies would be making different games to bring in this demographic. The fact remains, Wii has a third of console sales all to itself.

 As I said, it doesn't matter what you think. Put simply, you're being very very nieve if you think stuff like Lair, Heavenly Sword and Drakes Fortress can compare to games which have proven sales behind them and are familiar franchises to the mainstream (and more ignorant) consumer.  Grand Theft Auto was the only PS3 game that people would be familiar with on the PS3, and now it's not on the Christmas line up PS3 is yet again left to try and sell consoles to the nishe hardcore gamer market (which the 360 is trying to get as well). Meanwhile the Wii is competing for this market (albeit not as competitively), but at the same time bring in sales from many other markets such as female gamers and the pre-teens, which PS3/360 simply don't appeal too.

but as we are on internet, people talk for temselve too, and since they dont like Wii line-up, they consider it is the worst.

Whatever, even a crappy line-up will be sufficient to sell the Wii

 exactly... the WII is the Ipod of consoles... no matter what it will sell... you don't even have to think of the line up... The only threat for WII could be a real cut back from 360 beside that their market shares are secure.... people right now are more arguing on PS3/360

As a gamer who actually liked GTA, this was a bad holy shit. It was one of the games I was actually looking forward to, and now delayed possibly 6 months?

Note: I cant list the wii one's cuz IM sick.. But it has 67 games coming out with 27 exclusive titles.

edit: Out of those 27 exclusives only around 9 of them are for casuals and hardcore gamer's, the rest are those spongebob and little kid EC games... And about 38 of those wii games I consider on the 360/ps3 level but hey its my opinoin.

Like I said in the critical xbox thread, this is going to be real bad for both systems. Will Madden and Halo (the remaining mega franchises this year on those systems) be enough to get the core audience motivated to buy next gen consoles? Yeah all those 360 and PS3 games look great, but are they enough to get the 1-2 game a year buyers to invest so much money in a new console? I don't think so, and that sucks because I own a PS3.

EDIT:  Well this year and next year I'll have a bunch of great games to play. And I own a Wii too, so I am safe in this worse case scenario.

We are confounding things ....I said the PS3 and 360 lineups are far better than the WIi one .NOT that the WIi one had less selling power .As some point ,Mario and Wii Fit may have more selling power than some of the brilliant games of the other plattforms .

So lets not confound .....sales wise the Wii can have a terrific lineup to pile lots of customers ,kiddies ,grannies ,girls ,long time retirees ,Mario fans ...fat people with Wii Fit ...etc etc

But quality-wise the lineup of both the 360 and the PS3 is light years ahead .

Quality wise the wii has the best lineup for me with the ps3 being clearly the worst. 

But i guess everything you like is what everyone will like, right ?

I can see this whole thread going even further down the proverbial ****ter, now someone has tried to debate the quality of line ups.
