Very expensive HD development, lower than expected HD userbase, lack of big budget titles on market leader and unreliable Wii core audience pretty much covers it I guess.
Lots of Sony doom and gloom on this thread. Think some people are overreacting slightly. Am sure Sony can pull things around. Not saying they can win this gen but theres no way they are pulling out of hardware this gen probably not even next gen. Not saying they aren't losing money but their sales are still growing, albeit only slightly. No way they are going to "do a Sega". Once the recession is over i'm sure this kind of talk will stop.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

It's just the pendulum swinging. Once it's all said and done, at the end of the gen, it'll be a virtual tie.
Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

I;m pretty sure Sony;s loses have dropped considerably since that chart was made.
Not really, hasn't changed much. Q208 looked better than Q207 maybe.
Probably will get worse in the next quarter because of currency losses. Q308 estimates have already been cut $300 million by Sony, so it could be pretty ugly.

Good thing LBP software sales went up by 2k this week, and R2 is holding it own, both games should see a boost for black friday, and LBP should break a million in a week or two.
Probably, but the numbers in Japan just suck. I mean in America and in Others, those Wii numbers are freaking insane. I mean 400k in Others and 300k in America.lol
Nintendo clearly had sped up there Mario Factories.
Can't wait to see the Wii Fit numbers next week. They are going to be HUGE!
