That kind of begs the question of why isn't SO4 being released on the PS3.  Even if it is Japan-only, it would still be nice of S-E to consider putting SO4 on the PS3.  I am tired of some of the negative comments the game is getting on GameTrailers just because the game isn't on the PS3.  The TGS 2008 trailer for SO4 is now up on GameTrailers with English VA.  Under that same trailer, there are people saying that the English VA and lypsyncing is bad when they are actually a big step up from Infinite Undiscovery.  I saw the trailer for myself.

If it's about the game sales, they would go "Truly" multi-plat instead of exclusive with some of their titles. Especially when there's less than 800k install base in Japan, where the RPG really gets loved.

By their logic with FFXIII, if they didn't get paid by MS, why would they make games exclusive to X360 to lose the potential profit from the other consoles, which have way larger install base in the RPG loving region.

Welcome to the real world Sony fans. You are fond of telling the Nintendo fanboys to stop crying when they moan about lack of third party support. Well now you know what it's like. You have to deal with it, just like Nintendo fans do. Square are only making business decisions and as they are a business that's not surprising really. Some people on these forums seem to think Sony actually own the third parties it seems. Now you are finding out they don't perhaps you will realise how Nintendo fans have been feeling for years now. Mind you, if Square really wanted to go where the money was perhaps they should consider coming back to Nintendo with the Wii.....

Who will be the biggest loser: Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo?

The answer: none of the above. It will be Square Enix.

Sony fans are pissed that a lot of exclusives go to 360 and FFXIII is going multi-platform.

Nintendo fans are pissed that SE isn't really supporting the Wii only with shovelware and DS ports.

Microsoft fans are pissed because they release crappy games on Xbox 360 (IU and The Last Remnant).



How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

You're full of reason on this one,SE wants money and it's ok,but they have to release titles with enough quality and in all platforms,otherwise they only going to get the hate.

Shame for my beloved FF franchise.

Don't get me wrong, Square is definitely showing that they support MS more than Sony at this point. It wouldn't surprise me if FFVXIII goes multiplat.

Infinite Undiscovered and Last Remnant may have been mediocre titles, but they are still exclusives that PS3-only users will not get to play. But Square is still supporting Sony's consoles by giving several exclusives to PSP and also releasing FFXIII&VXIII on PS3. I wouldn't call it a "shot in the head".

PS3-only users will get to play Last Remnant. At some point.

As for how mediocre it is, I just got it in the mail, so I'm off to see for myself!
