oh c'mon, give El Gefe a break. Dude just puts in whatever news he can find, what makes the front page is what you guys view the most, so anything that isn't "news worthy" can simply not get as many views and fall into the news abyss.

Thanks Torilian... But I did not write the article thay are complaining. Also people dont value the effort some time.

suuuuuuuuuuure you didn't

well this not news, I dont spell check my posts... and check the credit on the article.

I wasn't aware you needed spell check to correctly spell they.

I am pretty sure you just read what you posted carefully so you dont fail...

Isn't referring to a post as a "fail" become a little too chiché? Yes, my post is correct.

Maybe since you're from Honduras, English isn't your first language. So I'll cut you a break.

You mispelled cliché, but since french isn't your first language I'll cut you a break..

I've seen worst.

Who's the news editor, he needs to verify an article before being posted. Too many non new stories have been posted lately.

Technically everything (i think) is supposed to go through 1 of 3 people for grammer and spelling check. BengaBenga is the senior news editor, and DKII and Naz work on reviews. I'm never 100% sure who does what exactly cause I am not a news contributor. Obviously the writer of this news decided to bypass that mechanism. Also being American and having built in spell checker isn't enough for some people.

Anyways, if you really want to see this pulled, pm one of the three people I noted above. I don't know if anyone will check the comments section.

Either way, enough people are b!tching about this, so this would probably serve as an embarassing kind of warning to the news writers, and with the issue of whether or not this is news, all that needs to be done is to say that this is just a rumor.  Pretty simple.

I said I've seen it and that I'll look after it.

Criticism is very good, but if you compare where we were a year ago it's a big difference with where we are now. We're getting better by the month and unfortunately you have to make mistakes to learn from them.

I agree that we are much better now than a year ago. And I must clarify, these guys put a lot the work and effort to support this site. I applaud them. But, we need to tighten up a little bit, I dont want no outsider critizing our news for negligance.

To be honest half the news items aren't news at all, and half the 'new pics released of ...." topics feature images many months old at times.

Of course by 'half' I don't really mean half, but a lot do, and some weeks the ratio of news to not-news falls drastically in the wrong ratio.

I don't really care though.

I personally like the rumors as they give us a clue to some of the possibilities of things to come, but I also think that it would serve to keep the arguments to a minimum if these were simply labeled as rumors.  I think that they are in most cases but I see that some people have complained about it which is fair as well.

i'm still uncertain that this is just for black friday i was the first one to post this in the forum on monday the only reason that i'm uncertain is how do they have a special box for it if it was a one and done best buy would just give u the original 80g box with the movie and game separate yeah i know evrywhere shows it at bestbuy for BF special limit 1 ect. ect. but maybe cause that is the release date and it's a limited holiday time bundle as sony does't want to lose alot of money on it and they don't have alot stocked up trying to keep this under wraps

or maybe dryden is wright if he is wright give him alot of credit as he was the first to debunk it in my thread

FWIW, those aren't new boxes, they're existing 80Gb boxes with stickers affixed to them. All the promotional detail are on BB's site now, including a digital copy of the flyer:

http://www.bestbuy.com/doorbustersna1/

Notice the price tag notes: $399 after instant savings.

Or alternately click the weekly ad link at the top and view the Thanksgiving ad. It reads, "FREE Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction game & Casino Royale Blu-ray movie with this 80Gb PS3 -- $89.97 value."

All of the verbiage associated with this promotion is very clear ... it's a BB exclusive doorbuster. Just call a BB and ask. It is not a new bundle from Sony. Certainly they know better than to include the same two year old movie they were giving away for Christmas '06!

I guess putting the word "Rumor" gave people the wrong idea. Seriously thought that was a rumor and now I am confused.
