GRAN TURISMO series = GOD of all games

A couple of things:

1. It's not a full priced game. It is sold at a bargin price, and has amazing graphics to show off the PS3.

2. It's been hyped by PS3 fans alot, and the company tagline is that it's a "full game," not a demo.

3. The PS3 didn't necessarily have a lot of good games when it was released. Again, it was very hyped.

4. It has been bundled which could have added as much as 25 percent of its sales.

5. It is Sony's most successful franchise, and one of the most successful franchises in gaming.

6. Racing games are repetitive. You just race the whole time. You race, build your car, race again. Where am I going with this? Well, when I think of buying a demo, a racing game is the only demo I would ever consider. If it has one track and one car, it is still very representative of a whole game, just sans other backgrounds, like tracks and car models. Basically, it IS GT5, just with less wallpapers to roll your car over. Anyone with a pair of gaming sticks realizes this, and thus believe the demo will give satisfaction where demos for story or narrative based games would not.

So yes, those are the reasons. :P

Why don't you call a few of them out, see if you can stand up in an argument with those people instead of trolling.

 Like maynard comparing wii sports to gt5:p to somehow prove something about bundles... but me and MM took care of that already.

 Labeling at as a full game? no, but when someone would "lolz sony fanboys are stupid they will pay for demos" people would say "dude its not full price and it has as much content as other full games"

Comments about GT5 from Sony fans that I googled, first 3 results:

2. no, its not a demo! wrong phrase to use. it is a 'prologue' to GT5, the same as GT4 had. only a handful of tracks (5) and cars- think i read 40? (compared to the full game) but it will have online multiplayer (16 players) but not all of the other features(career mode etc).

3. GT5P is not a demo

its an incompleat version of a game currently in development which is being released to the public. beta

Labeling it might have been too far, but it certainly was implied constantly at the games launch, and anyone would have been flamed to hell had they called it "Just a demo."

I've listed a few examples of the statements that were made around the games released, in my previous post.

Anyway, that is only one of the many reasons I've listed. People who argue against me have a tendancy to focus in on the one subject where they sense weakness, and attempt to ignore, marginalize, and draw attention away from my many other excellent points.
