Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Which DS game has given you the most value for your money and time?

Hmm... Puzzle Quest followed by Final Fantasy 3. By the end of next month though it might be Luminous Arc or Rune Factory. End of the year Zelda or DQ: Monsters Joker. May not be the best list but it is a pretty good one.

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

One of my favorites games that I spend time playing would be New Super Mario Bros. I thought that Mega Man ZX was pretty awesome too.

I've played just about all the major games on the DS that have everyone talking and hyping up the system. But seriously, the one I've enjoyed most must be Advance Wars Dual Strike. Really, this game is just awesome. I played the 1st 2 one the GBA and loved them but this blows them out of the water. Never since Smash bros. have I seen such perfect balance in a game. The depth in CO abilities, units. The well-laid out maps. Yeah, some of the characters may be seen as weird but the story isn't anything to be taken that seriously anyway.

...

Clocked more than 100hrs on that baby. I doubt anything has come close, although NSMB must do. Completely clocked that one (coin cleared the game), and love it to death.

So pure value for money - definitely NSMB, with Advance Wars a close 2nd.

Crap I forgot about Ace Attorney games (people need to stop calling them Phoenix Wright games, the series is Ace Attorney, Phoenix is only the main character for games 1-3, Apollo Justice is the hero of AA 4). Anyway, as far as amazing plot and humor go, the AA games are top notch.

I always confused Touch the Dead with Dementium: The Ward....Dementium looks cool...I'm not even sure what Touch of the Dead is actually then...

Touch the Dead is an on rails Zombie shooter. I rented it, and it's fun, but it has it's flaws. Most notably the fact that you'd be in an empty room, look from one corner to the next, look back again and suddenly there'd be 3 zombies in the middle of the empty room.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Definitely Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, since I liked it a lot more than Potrait of Ruin.  Other than that, totally agree with Advance Wars, also Brain Age.

Advance Wars lasted me onger than all of my other DS games combined. I didn't even buy a second game for my DS until NSMB came out and I bought the thing for AWDS.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

I coin cleared it twice. Then I decided it was time to move on and sold it.

And the two times were not in a row. It was something like 5 months after the first time I cleared it.
